I found this site primarily because I hated inspiration and Word's attempts at making webs for brainstorming. This site is a really quick, easy web maker for brainstorming- and the product looks pretty nice, too! You can export anything you create as a .jpeg file that you can save, print, whatever.






A great site for simple blogging with your students. As the teacher, you have the option to view your students work, edit it, and approve it before it is posted. Students can also comment on their classmates' work.


Make Beliefs is a free comic strip creation tool that provides students with a variety of templates, characters, and prompts for building their own comic strips. Make Beliefs provides students with a pre-drawn characters and dialogue boxes which they can insert into each box of their comic strip.


This website is more for younger children. It has some good ideas for holidays. You need an account, but you can see the smaller versions for the general ideas.
